Welcome back for Term 3.
Please ensure that your child's named PE kit is in school. Our new topic is 'Toys R Us' - take a look at the term plan.

Number bonds to ten - you can find them everywhere!
The Rabbits were very busy in term 2! A mysterious egg turned up in our school woods which happened to be an egg from a Riddlosaurus. We were provided with information from Mrs T Dactyl about this new species so we took this egg in and cared for it, and it also gave us some writing opportunities. It hatched in the last week!
We have enjoyed gymnastics and golf this term. We've absolutely loved learning about Mary Anning and we are very good at hot seating her! We became fossil experts, digging up our own fossils to create skeletons and also creating salt dough fossils. We learnt about lines and tone in art and create dinosaur eyes on paper and with clay. All this and lots more such as music, designing dinosaur toys this term. Finished off with a great Decorations Day, Nativity and Christmas dinner. Well done, Rabbits!
To start our last writing project of the term, we read ‘The Disgusting Sandwich’ and then we actually made some! We will write the recipe next week. Poor Mr Best!

Well done Squirrels on a fantastic performance at our Harvest Festival.
You can watch their performance here.
Year 1 and 2 started their new writing project this week based on the story of The Magic Porridge Pot - it got messy!
We had a fabulous trip to Pizza Express. Well done Rabbits, you were amazing chefs.

For school year 22/23 we are in Cycle 2.

Please encourage your child to use Numbots or TT Rockstars at home.
